Chott El Jerid - Tozeur - Eden Palm Oasis - Chebika - Tamerza - Star Wars Movie Sets

After breakfast in the desert, we'll drive to Tozeur through the Chott El Jerid salt desert - the largest salt flats in Sahara. We'll stop for a photo. Upon reaching Tozeur, you will enjoy a carriage ride through the lush and scenic Eden Palm oasis. It's beyond imaginations with over 400,000 trees - mostly date palm but also, banana and pomegranate trees. You will learn about the production of dates and do dates tasting. A delicious three-course lunch will be served at the lush and extraordinary garden of Eden Palm. After lunch, you'll be taken by a 4x4 vehicle to the oases of Chebika & Tamerza, Mides Canyon, and Star Wars movie sets. In Chebika, a local guide can take you on a 40-minute walk to a waterfall. After a climb up the mountain, you will be rewarded with a spectacular view overlooking the oasis. Tamerza is the largest mountain oasis in Tunisia, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim under the waterfall should you wish to. Your excursion will continue to Star Wars filming locations deep in the dunes, including Ong Jemel, named after a large rock shaped like a camel. The beautiful Mides canyon is immediately recognizable as the background for the pod race in Star Wars. At the end, we'll drive back to Tozeur for check-in and dinner at your hotel.
